Wild marjoram

Can I Chelsea chop it?
I leave it for the bees and butterflies but it gets awful messy.

    I did it last year and it made the plants shrubbier. They were planted in soil that was too rich, so they get too leggy.

    yes, probably more as there is less foliage.
