Bottlebrush plant success in containers?

Just had a holiday in Spain and fallen in love with the beautiful bright red bottlebrush shrubs growing in my sons garden there. I live in the south of England and from the research I’ve done, it seems as though there is no reason why one shouldn’t flourish here. However, I haven’t got room in my borders and would really love to have one as a specimen plant on my west facing patio. Are they suitable for container growing and how successful have others been with one? Also, is there a variety that is better than others for this purpose?When it’s sunny, my patio can easily reach mid 30s!
