    If you're potting it up Jay use a soil based ericacious compost for it, and make sure it gets watered regularly in hot weather.
    Container grown shrubs need looking after much more than ones planted in the garden.
    I've got far too many for my own good 😆.

    The suggestions already made are good ones but realistically unless you get it looking really good buy the end of the year I would give up on it & start again. I know,  & we have all done it, I have spent ages nursing plants back from the brink and sometimes it works but sometimes you just have to be realistic it's going to be difficult to get a nice shapely shrub with the framework that is there. If you want one in a new spot I would buy a new one & put it there.
