Last year I purchased a packet of  Phasedlus Caracalla seeds, it contained about 10 seeds, half of which I sowed, without one germinating. This year I tried again, sowing the last 5 seeds. After waiting for 2 months and nothing happening I was ready to throw the pot away when a minute green shoot appeared. I have persevered and last week, a whole 3 months after sowing, a second shoot has appeared. I have Googled the plant, the name appears to have been mis spelled,  I am hoping to end up with an unusual tender, conservatory climber with scented flowers. The seeds were about the same size as sweetcorn seeds so were large but I didn't expect such a long germination time. I suppose there is still time for more of the seed to germinate.
