Pittosporum flowers

micearguersmicearguers Posts: 646
Today I noticed, for the first time, the flowers on my Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Tandara Gold'. I am not sure whether it is the first time it has so many flowers, or whether I may have missed it previous years. However, a lot of shrubs and climbers look healthier than ever this year, including the wisteria and the schizophragma integrifolium. Perhaps the extended cold period followed by the high temperatures and rainfall helped.

They are lovely flowers and so easily missed!

They have an amazing spicy perfume in the evening after a hot day which I absolutely love although my OH is not so keen. I assume this is to attract moths not butterflies.
