Help -is this a weed

in Problem solving
just moved from a lawned garden with a fee pots to a large cottage garden and i’m a little out of my depth. Have several gardening books bit despite spearching through them and the internet, have not been anle to identify this?? Weed?? Any advice would be hreat appreciated. Caroline

    Looks very similar to wild raspberry leaves.

    Similar but my wild raspberries have got prickly stems.

    Would Ribes be showing dead flowers now? 
    Maybe a cultivated raspberry, mine are thornless.
