Mint smelling bad??

I have 2 mint plants in 2 different pots both are growing well
Number 2 recently was infested with aphids and I trimmed away the badly affected parts and sprayed it regularly so no more aphids and new buds are starting to grow  already .... It smells and tastes great as mint should

Number 1 despite being right next to number 2 but wasn't infested with aphids. Also growing well but whenever I smell it or spray it or taste it ... It's mint but + what could be described as a pee odor *sorry*
What could be causing that ???

Are they both the same variety of mint?  There are scores of different kinds with different scents and flavours ... just have a look here and scroll down to get an idea

I'm a bit concerned that you sprayed your mint ... what with?  I wouldn't use any sprays on edible plants. :o

Have you anywhere outside for your mint to live ... it'll be much happier outside.

I wouldn't spray anything you are planning to eat.

That's ok then  :)  you'd be surprised at how many people do spray their fruit and vegetables with insecticides and fungicides and then get upset when we tell them not to eat them!

Had to say it ... don't want you being ill   :'(

Don’t suppose you have a cat, they love some mints.
