too late for spuds?

I had every intention of planting a row of King Edwards in the middle of April, but got overtaken by events. Is there any point in planting them now? Thanks for any advice

    My brother's a potato farmer ... they're still planting ... get them in  :D

They should be ready to harvest in 20 weeks so given a reasonable autumn you'll be fine ... they'll just be a bit late.

The weather has been so random that I havent put mine in yet. It's a late season this year so it should be fine. Lets hope for a long autumn.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
