    When I went to work in a garden centre, straight form school, I read it as cotton easter. I'm so glad I heard someone else pronounce it before I said it out loud. 
    I also remember being asked about "Liquid Amber" and looking it up in the "common names" section. 
    We all live and learn.

    Then there's people called 0-NI-ons.
    I think clemAtis sounds horrible so I don't say it.

    So how would you pronounce Thuja - hard J, soft J, long A, short A? And who decides!
