Bougainvillea

i have a bougainvillea in a conservatory which I have had for 4 years, this year it shows no sign of any green shoots breaking, any ideas?

    How cold does your conservatory get during the winter? I think you might be surprised. Bougainvilleas are from SE Asia and Pacific Islands. Hot, hot, hot, even at night.

    Our bougainvillea has plenty of new shoots but no flowers yet.  It is planted into the soil in a cold greenhouse that goes down to 1 or 2 degrees above freezing during the winter.
