Puzzled by this one?

Hi, does anyone know what this is? I'm assuming some sort of grass, but that's my limit I'm afraid. When you rub it, it releases lots of powdery pollen. Thanks, Lee

Carex pendula ... attractive but grows large and vigorous and seeds freely and can become a total PITA ... most people with 'normal sized' gardens dig it out when i t appears in their gardens, but if you have a large garden with a 'Wild Area' it can be useful.
