Underplanting

I have a magnolia bush in my front garden and it’s underplanted with crocus. Looks lovely in spring, but after the foliage has died, it looks really bare. Can I plant some summer bedding plants on top of the crocus or would this kill them?

    No you won’t kill them 😊 just try not to dig out the bulbs when you plant your summer choice. If any do come out just pop them back in under your new plants
