First time Dahlia grower!

  I am in the SE 10 minutes from the sea and they wont go out till beginning of June, too risky, they should be inside now though, ned to be hardened off, yup, good advice on here, (naturally!) pop them in the shade somewhere sheltered, good soaking before you go, some kind of slug protection, they just lurve new dahlias

  Ok, so, I move my coldframe to sheltered spot out of full sun, leave the lid open, fill the base with grit, put the dahlias in there and give them good watering.....does that sound like a good idea?
