Geranium ID please.

Would be grateful if you can Id this geranium. Picked 3 of this at a charity sale last year but have no clue what this is. If it’s one of the shade tolerant type I’d be delighted 🙂. It it helps, this had nice autumn colours and some of the leaves lasted through winter. Many thanks.

Looks very similar to one I’ve just bought online. Geranium Pyrenaicum Bill Wallis. It’s supposed to be drought tolerant and resistant to rabbits and slugs. I like the red stems contrasting with the purple flowers. It’s happy in sun and part shade.
Someone with more knowledge will be along shortly to confirm or give you a correct ID if I’m wrong.

Many thanks bright star. I was thinking the same but the pictures look more blue than purple for bill Wallis. I have   some Bill Wallis from seeds. So guess I’ll know if it’s the same once it flowers.
