Tulip Identification - Queen of the night?

Hello, I have had some tulips growing in my garden but I didn't note the type when I planted them. Can someone identify them so I can order more bulbs? Thank you in advance. David

    I thought that would be the case. I've never grown Tulips before so lesson learned. Make notes of what I'm planting. Only started gardening last year. Thank you.

    Mine are pretty tall David, and the colour looks right.

    In my Queen of the Night, the flower heads are a bit longer than yours.

    Thanks Hogweed - Regardless of whether they are or are not, I think I will go with Queen of the night now. My own fault for not noting down the variety when I put them in. I didn't know what they would look like and if they would even grow! But I've been really pleased with how they look and think I am hooked. I want stuff to be popping up all over the place all year now. Just researching what comes up at what time of year. Thanks again.

    Queen of the night looks even better if you mix it in with pale pink tulips.

    I bought Queen of Night cheap at Morrisons. What a mistake! They resemble the three year old bulbs that my grandaughter planted and I have never lifted.

    They are Queen of Night but not as robust as they should be.

    I will spend more next Autumn, having seen the fabulous display at Largs Railway Station, and their selection of fancies. 

    Note to self: buy cheap, be disappointed.

    In the past I have planted up two large containers with Queen of the Night and a white tulip, cannot remember the name of the white one, which made a stunning display. It is difficult to find a similar white one which flowers at the same time as Queen of the Night, which is a tall growing flower. I still love the black and white colour combination.
