When Can I move my Daffodils?

I have planted Daffodils last October, but now they are in full bloom I've discovered they would be better located in a different area.  When can I move the bulbs so they continue blooming next year?  Can I move them soon after the flower is spent, or should I wait until October?

    Hi Peggy - you can move them before that. It's best to let them die down naturally so that the foliage feeds the bulb. If you  leave them till the foliage has gone brown and died back, you can lift them then and relocate.  :)
    If you mark them with a few twigs, or a bit of string or ribbon  [or similar] round a bit of foliage that can help. It's very easy to forget where they are when you go to dig them up!
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I just take the whole lot with a big clump of soil and put them somewhere else to die down, as long as you don’t cut the green of yet.
