I think mice always leave a little calling card! Is there evidence on your kitchen window sill?

    Lyn...
Thats my confusion - there are usually droppings when he comes out and there haven’t been any around the sill or even many recently.

I guess theyd blend  into the compost though if they had landed in the pots or trays themselves...!

I’ll have a closer look today when I reseed and move everything.

we had one last entry point we thought he could be getting into &
my partner covered it over yesterday so hopefully that’s it

Re: slugs-  no slime trails plus I washed everything so carefully before but I will check again.

Cant decide if it’s just too late to try the cosmos again now!

Is it too late to try cosmos again? All mine were slugged and I bought some more seeds ....

Not too late for cosmos, Monty Don sows some on the 1st June for a late display.  Mine are only about 3” tall, and they germinate in 2 to 3 days this time of the year.

Ok! I’ve re- sown the cosmos and my herbs and moved them away from possible mouse access!!! Fingers crossed!

    thanks everyone!!
