phalaenopsis with yellow leaves

JeanRJeanR Posts: 16
I bought a Phalaenopsis plant last week from Orchid Republic, and today I noticed that the leaves are starting to become yellow. The medium is orchid mix bark that is not overly wet. I checked the roots and they are in good condition. It is in indirect sunlight. Don't know what's going on. Any ideas?  Any tips on how to take care of this kind of orchid? Thanks.

All the leaves or just one?

The bottom one's die off eventually, but it's usually just one at a time.  Can you post a picture?

I have found that sometimes orchids can go into a bit of shock when moved from the shop they were bought in. They may have been in a fixed moisture environment, watered exactly the same amount, and live at same temperatures with exact light levels for ages and then get all confused.
