Is my daisy Bush dead?

Hello, am new to gardening and am currently trying to spruce up my garden. A Daisy Bush was left by the previous owner, I've cut the dead parts off today but am wondering if its still alive? Perhaps I need to cut it back even more? The branches feel a little hollow and easy to snap. Just wondering if anyone has some advice?
Thanks

Daisy bush doesn't really give us a clue as to what it is, do you have a name?

  • I've just looked online and it looked like a marguerite Bush. Oh would be a shame if it had died

I thought it was an Argyranthemum but the Daisy Bush is Olearia. It’s dead whatever it is!

  • Okay will chuck it. Thanks for your help guys, I probably would have gone on watering it for another two weeks!
