Mystery shrub

Hi all, have you any idea what this could be?  It's about 3 years old and in a 9" square pot.
Pretty sure it's a purchased plant and not a rogue tree seedling.

    Good spot, Fire!  I now vaguely remember a tiny cheap one falling into the trolley a couple of years ago!  Must plant it out - not going to be happy in a pot.

    I imagine if you put it in the ground with some good soil, it will shoot away. I advise giving some careful thought as to exactly where it will go. What it will climb up? How will you prune it? They will sprawl if you let them. This is one to exert some control over. Mine is the opposite and I spend all summer battling it, mainly because it was planted 20 year ago in a really odd place with nothing to grow up.

    My friend had one that she just left to ramble over the shed, it looked lovely in bloom.
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    I already have one I grew from seed which took 15 years to flower so I'm surprised I didn't recognise it!

    Mine is just coming into flower now and looks as though it's going to be a good year.
    There's an old Georgian house in Bath which is covered in wisteria and looks absolutely spectacular!

    I had just said "It looks like wisteria to me."  :)
    I am not that addled as far as plants go.
