  • I've just discovered one being built in a similar position. I'm going to leave mine too and watch the progress. Unless it gets to the stage where I need a beekeepers suit to enter the shed  :dizzy:
  • Oh no, one of them seems to have crumbled overnight! Wahhhh. I wonder if they’ll rebuild or just start somewhere else?

    I wanted to say it looks like an old one with it being gray but is that a larva there in it? Personally We murder them with fire whenever found (I am allergic)

    That looks like it was attacked by something. Can birds get in there?
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • It looks like a larvae, doesn’t it Skandi? We only found this one last week (there’s a picture at the start of the thread), & there was a wasp busying itself in there all weekend. Checked on it this morning, et voila :( nope, no birds can get near it! What a shame.
