Hi Pete, I have planted three lots of 5 Moonlight runners this spring.
I bought them because of the claims on the packet. However they have been very temperamental! Out of all my plantings, only 5 have grown to the point of planting out! The rest have been a disaster,2 grew two enormous leaves, but no tendrils, some were totally deformed, and some just didn't germinate, the beans turned white and powdery, and that was it!!
I'm afraid I won't grow them again, too unreliable. Back to the red flowering ones next year!! Maybe you'll have more luck than me??
I hope you do,let me know.

I think they will be very good, I’ve  always grown the sister plants, Firestorm, brilliant beans. Sow them now, and they will be ready to plant out on the 1st June.
No point in sowing any earlier, they won’t germinate well.

I have just planted them today in my cool greenhouse and with the warmer weather thats promised I will keep my fingers crossed. I will also plant some proper runner beans then I can compare.  Pete
