Identify this Hedge

Our neighbours have a very nice boundary hedgerow which produces small white flowers late spring/early summer. Can anyone identify what species this is?

    Looks like pyracantha to me but I can't really see the leaves properly. If it is it will have berries later in the year.

    Thanks. Do you know roughly how much this plant grows per year usually?

    Mine puts out big long shoots up to a couple of feet. It's easy to keep under control. Just chop off the bits you don't want but you may lose the berry display.
