Japanese Maple

Hi,

my Japanese mountain maple leaves are wilting, I'm not sure what the problem is. can somebody help me please.

     I've never grown one before, so apologies.  is it normal for the leaf tips to curl at the end?

    Looks slightly scorched! Where is it positioned?

    behind a conifer, so it's partially shaded from the afternoon sun

    The leaves on mine open in exactly the same way, perfectly normal.

    Here too. Mine look like that until fully open. Watch out for positioning as they dont like too much sun or wind.
