Red robins

I have these red robins that have dropped most of there leaves and other leaves are coming through crispy is there anything I can do, any advice is welcome thank you.

    Oh really, well we definitely have had that will they thicken up again.

    Might be a bit hungry/thirsty in those pots.
    Do you prune them?  They look a bit "leggy".

    I havnt they was delivered 3 weeks ago I havnt planted them in case there was a problem with them and not sure about pruning. I have a huge one on the other side of the garden that'  in the ground I have never had a problem with it. I have fed and watered them.

    Would they be better planted in the ground rather than pots. Thank you for everyones input.
