Thanks everyone for your replies. Sadly, as Phillip mentioned, I'm constrained by my neighbour's wishes, so it'll be moved. She is quite particular about these things, she likes everything to be 'tidy'.
It's all I can do to stop her from cutting down the leaves of spring bulbs after they've finished flowering.
I'll also take some cutting, as suggested, to grow some more of these lovely plants.
I've never had any success with cuttings from this plant - what am I doing wrong?
Lizzie, I've not done it myself yet, but apparently the best method is to break off a branch so that it tears away a 'heel' from the stem it's attached to.
You need a non-flowering shoot, sometimes finding this is the hardest bit. You could pull it away, but I usually just cut it, remove lower leaves and pot into fairly gritty compost.
Water in then cover with a plastic bag or propagator lid.
Some bottom heat may help if you have it, but they seem to do ok on the GH staging or on a windowsill.
Don't overwater and don't let the atmosphere get too damp and steamy, ventilate slightly if need be.

Pot on when roots show at the bottom of the pot.
