    Sorry I forget that normal people don't have to deal with bats as much as I do. They've become a frequent hazard in my line of work.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

     a 40cm cockchafer would probably live up to it’s name! 😳 had no idea we had bats as big as that though!

    We have an SSSI very close by here ... old chalk mines which are home to quite a few different species of bats ... not to mention  large old oak trees, some with hollow trunks and of course, there's the ancient city walls and towers around Norwich and the castle, two cathedrals, 52 old churches and countless old houses and buildings ... quite a few bats around here  <3

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
