Tomato leaf damage

can anyone tell me what might have caused this on my tomato plants? These plants have been in the house the whole time (can’t go out yet due to cold weather - they’re getting huge!) is it ok to cut them worst off?  Only seems to be on first set of true leaves so far. Having a guess at whitefly though I’ve  not seen any. Any help appreciated.

    Looks more like sunscorch. If we get any direct sunshine, get them off the windowsill. Are they outdoor type? If you have a greenhouse I would put them in there, have newspapers or fleece ready if a frost threatens.

    I’ve just come across an earlier post with similar pics and I think you are right!  Been wanting to iutbthem in the greenhouse for ages but was worried as temps weren’t getting above 10c at night at all that they would suffer. Just got a greenhouse shifted to my allotment so will pop them in there. Thought I was looking after them too well near a big bay window they’ve been in. Looks like next two weeks weather it’s wsrming up here in Sheffield so it maybe nearly time!! Thank you! Guess I’ll do the same for my aubergines and chillis

    It has been going down to about 5  to 7 at night in the greenhouse here in Nottingham. I do have a heater on a thermostat though.

    Check the undersides of the leaf for tiny red spider mites.. just in case.  Most likely sun scorch, as FB stated.
