Bluebells
A friend has given me lots of bluebell bulbs. How can I store them? I do not want to plant them now as I have planted lots of Summer plants. Help please.

If they are natives and still in leaf they need planting to stop the bulbs drying out and to allow the foliage to photosynthesise and feed the bulbs for next year's flowers. They are woodland plants so need to be planted somewhere where they will get sun n spring and then shade in summer as foliage appears above.
If you haven't got such a spot free now try putting them in pots or old window boxes to grow on until their leaves fade and then put the bulbs in the ground in their intended spot next autumn but don't let them dry out completely before then.
