Gardens to visit in East Devon and surrounding area - Any recommendatioins.

Every year I plan a few days away visiting gardens with my friend.  This year we are staying in Kilmington East Devon in June and the gardens we are planning to visit are

Forde Abbey and Gardens

Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens

Bennetts water garden

East Lambrook

Barringtons Court

Bishops Palace Gardens Wells

I just wondered if any of you have any thoughts on our choices and whether you know of any really good gardens in the area that we have missed out.

When in East Devon I thoroughly enjoyed a visit to Bicton Park Botanical gardens next to Bicton College, at a place called Colaton Raleigh.   Well worth it I think.
I also enjoyed Knightshayes Court which is near Tiverton..

The gardens I have visited are more in central Devon, The Garden House, Coleton Fishacre, but I had a look and found this one more in the area you are visiting https://www.burrowfarmgardens.co.uk/
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Like the look of Burrow Farm BL, might have to review the itinery.

Bishop's Palace in Wells is lovely (but you need to park in the main car park in Wells and walk). Barrington Court is good and East Lambrook was interesting when I visited many years ago. Hestercombe near Taunton is another good choice.
