Identifying Plants

Hi All! I'm new to this forum, and gardening generally... I've inherited some planters and have a few plants (could be veg - i think?? the second one is kale??) that look like could be worth keeping but I dont know what they are. I'm hoping someone here can help me out. Any assistance/pointers most welcome!

    Yes! So sorry.. currently battling with the image uploader (seems I didnt do it when thought before). Many apologies! Im working on it now, please give me a few mins :)

    Plant one looks like Elder, give it a squeeze and see if it smells
    2 looks like Kale
    3 could be regrowth of Snowberry but less sure about this one

    The second one does look like kale but it's going to seed so time to dig it up.
    Sorry, I don't know about the others. First one looks familier but mind has gone blank!

    Nutcutlet: Yes, plant one did smell when I squeezed it - thank you so much! Ill check out Snowberry - good idea. 
    Busy-Lizzie: thanks for the tip, it was all over the place I must say, Ill go dig it up now. 

    Thank you all so much, very excited to be here... if anyone has other thoughts on plant 3 it would be most welcome.

    Defo Snowberry as nutcutlet says. I have it everywhere because it suckers willy nilly.

    I would have the elder out of that container too.  Likely a 'gift' from the birds. 
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    plant pauper: good, glad that is confirmed, after that suggestion I looked it up online and that seemed to match so I took that one out already.

    BobTheGardener: That makes sense that it came from the birds as it seems a weird place to plant such a thing... Is there any chance it survives if I move it? (friend with a garden likes them to make things with...)

    I wouldn't move the elder, I'd bin it or give it to the friend.
