Repotting old clivias

My ancient Clivia has finally produced a baby and I am wondering whether that's a sign to repot it. I can see the roots of it in its current one. The reason I ask is that I'm sure I have been told they should really only be repotted when they almost crack the pot.

(and for you who remember, it is still not flowering and I have not moved it to the bedroom to see if that improved it=

    I used to have these but they were so happy they were breeding offsets rabbit fashion so I gave them all away.   They need a cool period in winter to nudge them into flowering but they don't do cold so be careful.

    Ta. I'll try to find a suitable container to pot it up in. I find the advice about the cool spell a bit odd as the original plant never needed it.
