Iris chrysographes Plants- Black Form

I have some bare root bulbs from J Parker but there are no instructions on the depth of planting .  Most instructions on these plant say plant an inch or so deep with the rhizomes showing but these dont seem to have one and are just bulbs with roots A few have some shoots already showing.

It is about  9-14 C and raining all the time in London until about the middle of next week so should I plant them now or wait, and how deep should they be ?

    I just plant them at soil level. They're different from bearded Iris which should have the rhizomes proud so that they get the sun on them. Chrysographes like damp conditions, so now is a good time to get them in! If you're worried about them - you could pot them up for now and get them into the ground in a month or two.
    I love them  :)

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Sounds like the sooner I get them in the better.  How long do they flower for ?

    Not very long - but they're multi headed, so you get a nice little succession of flowers. About a couple of weeks or so.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
