Save Local Wildlife Sites - deadline 10th May 2018

Hi everyone, 
Thought some of you may be interested to take a look at this.
The Government is planning to remove the protection from Local Wildlife Sites.
A consultation on the proposals is now open and closes on the 10th May.

    What is it with “the powers that be”? Don’t they live on the same planet as the rest of us? Are they just blinded by the thought of all the money they can get out of something? Do they not have children, grandchildren or any concept of the future of the planet?
    I always think of the Einstein quote:
    'Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe'.
    Very apt when it comes to politicians!
