Withering flax

D CD C Posts: 27
Good morning.

Over the past winter, this plant has started to look awfully tired.

Does anyone know if it will pick up again, or is there something I can do to help it recover please?

the leaves that are brown and collapsed won't recover, I'd cut those off and see what you have left.

Yep - cut out all the dead stuff. You should see  a few new shoots down near the base  anyway, and those will grow on.   :)
You could also lift and divide it, potting up some pieces for replanting too. That can help reuvenate them.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
