jumpy tonight

Just turned on the back garden lights and a gremlin was sitting under the bird table. Scared the bejesus out of me. I turned a powerful torch on it and it turned to be the biggest, hairyest cat I think I've ever seen.

After letting the dog out to play with his new friend I sat down to read my book and something in the kitchen started making a weird scratching noise that went on for a minute or more. Another gremlin? I finally tracked the noise down to a stick of rhubarb sat on the worktop that is gradually splitting down the middle. You know it's time to get some sleep when a stick of rhubarb is freaking you out...

Rhubard crème brûlée? (Guess who just worked out how to do accents on his phoné). Sounds like the world's poshest rhubard and custard. Is 12:30 too late or too early to do some cooking? :o

I think that's the nicest thing I've been called in a long time o:)

I'm not sure why my phone keeps changing rhubarb to rhubard though :/
