I've found that the Ignore button hides the Ignored person's posts but you still see their name, just in a "subdued hue".

Hate to say it but the ignore button has no effect.....
It doesn't, I was most disappointed, I don't use it often but handy sometimes

It's definitely working for me ... I just Ignored Pansyface for a few minutes ... her posts disappeared and just her name was there, but faded out.

    I've Unignored her again  :D

It used to remove the poster and with it their post. I miss that

Anyone want a korean massage?. I used google translate. I don't understand korean. Maybe they are happy about nuclear disarming.

@pansyface Did you click on the 'Are you sure?' confirmation button after clicking the Ignore button?

I clicked on the OK button, below the strip where you put in the name. Didn’t see an “are you sure?” box.

I went back and redid it and a box popped up to say that the name was already being ignored, or words to that effect.

I think we're doing it differently.  To ignore you I click on your name at the top of your post and I get taken to your public page and I click on the little 'head and shoulders' icon and get the option to Ignore.  When I click on that a window pops up and asks me Are you sure you want to ignore Pansyface? and if I confirm that I do, then you get ignored.
