Raspberry growing

I bought 3 canes of Ruby Beauty raspberries last year and understand that the fruits this year will be on those. However this year there is new  growth that appears to be coming from the roots (away from the main trunk of the fruit) and I was wondering whether these were suckers that i should remove. Or are they next year's fruit bearers?

Next year's fruit bearers.  You cut out this year's at the base as soon as you've harvested your raspberries and then tie those fresh canes into the supports.
