Narcissi Thalia - off with their heads??

NollieNollie Posts: 7,529
I read it’s best to lop off spent heads (but not leaves, obs) to stop the plants wasting energy producing seed, but I believe Thalia is good for naturalising and I would like the ones I have planted around trees and up banks to do so. Am I best to behead them and allow them to proliferate from below ground, or to leave them to set seed? Not sure which way to go...

If you want them to be the same, dead head them. Seed grown will take up to three years to flower, and you never know where the bees have been.
