    Its a saxifrage, I knew it as London Pride.

    Thanks! There are some saxifrage-type leaves there (it's all buried in longish grass) but I hadn't linked the two! Must go and have a more careful look.

    That's a nice deep pink. Mine are all rather paler.

    It's in a fairly shady damp position on the north side of the house, so not much sun. Not sure if that makes a difference?

    It looks like a mossy saxifrage (saxifraga) rather than the London Pride type. Too many cultivars to give you anything beyond that but it looks like a good one.

    I think you're right. I've just had a look and the leaves I noticed before are the London Pride type. This one has much smaller leaves, moss-like in fact :)

    Plant it somewhere it likes and it will put on a great display in late spring. Welsh Rose has done very well for me around my pond. The pic below is when I bought it in 2015 and the bottom pic was last year.
