Another tree ID for ID please

    Looks like Amelanchier lamarckii.

    @Silver surfer - thanks. Pleased you said that as that's what I'd tentatively IDed it as, but I wasn't sure as I've never had one before.

    It might be trying to find light as it's shaded to the south by some big conifers, to the west by a big ash, and to the east by something I've yet to identify :) But I want to prune this last one to give the Amelanchier a little more light, but daren't until I work out what it is. It's just starting into leaf so there may be another one to be IDed soon!

    I'm now wondering if it's Amalanchier canadensis? I have bought, and planted, a bare-rooted A. lamarckii so I will be able to compare the two (probably in a few years time!).
