Plant identification

Can anyone tell me what this plant is please.  I think it was grown from a seed sent to me a couple of years ago - something "Gigas".  It has just recently pushed up through the soil in the bog garden and looks incredibly healthy - approx. 3 - 6 inches tall so far. - although I may be totally wrong!

    I think nutcutlet has given it the correct name - I will try to remember to photograph again when the plant is in flower.  The fact that I planted it in the bog garden indicates that I was thinking that the damp soil would be the perfect place for the plant - I hope I have got that right.

    Angelica do like a bog.
    They are funny in their flowering pattern, in that they can flower 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th year, but will then die

    but they'll set a million seeds before they go.

    That's good news punkdoc and Hosta - I like a plant that pays it's way and I if I remember correctly just 3 of the seeds germinated and now I just have this one plant showing so I will have to take special care of it - do they have any growing problems that I should look out for?
