Shallow window box suggestions
Hi,
i have a shallow window box, full sun, about 100mm depth 1000mm long .. any suggestions on what might thrive here ? I guess it mimics a green roof type of planting and will be quite dry .. sheltered though. Completely open to colours and styles, as there’s currently nothing in it it’s wasted space !

They tended to flower all at once though, albeit for a long period. I ended up mixing in some silver saxifrage in the centre and sempervivums at the edges which helped spread the season out. I got some great flowering spikes from the saxifrage.
Sadly I've had to take it all apart now as they developed the plot behind it and that part of the garden fell into the hole they dug. Another benefit of sedums though is that they transplant well.
