Tomataoes from seed

Hi.
My mother in law had some amazing Black Cherry Tonatoes last year.
There are loads of seedlings coming up from dropped fruit. Will these be the same as the parent plants?
Thanks.

It's a heirloom variety so should come true from seed.  However, if any other variety of tomato was grown in the same area, the seedlings could be a cross.  Given that tomatoes are self-fertile, the chances are very good that the seedlings will be the same as the mother plant.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

There were 5 plants and they were all the same variety.
Best Toms i ever tasted. I already potted up 7 just in case.
    Thanks again.
