Typical unruly Austin climber, probably 'St. Swithun' on a bad day, the blooms are usually more full, but you get some like that too... large thorns as usual..
If it was mine, no need to be fussy, I'd just cut it back by half after the first flush of bloom, so about mid July time. No need to worry where you cut it.. I notice you have some wires on the wall, you would need some more of those and train it how you want.
Best of luck, it's a nice rose when well trained and controlled... and can look quite special... when I grew it I didn't like the scent too much, but I can't recall why..
