Burnt Fatsia

Following on from my recent question, and help - thank you, reguarding my cistus murdered by the Beast from the East... my humungeous Fatsia bush is devastated.... every single leaf has brown bits, some almost all the leaf is brown, others only some of the leaf.... but not a whole green one to be seen. Will it recover? should I pull all the leaves off, leave them to drop off, cut the brown bits off? (We live next to the North Sea in the Scottish Borders)

    Wait and see.
Don't cut or pull anything off.

Mine is smaller and in a pot but was also caught by the cold snap and had brown patches. I have cut those leaves off and new ones are coming already. I think with the larger shrubs of fatsia you can cut them down and they will come back but i would take some cuttings to be on the safe side.

Thank you - mine is about the size of a large coal bunker and I would really miss it.... so I will look for new leaves coming before I chop off the old ones
