Green Grow

Hi, I've recently dug up my old turf and require some soil, about 1.5 tons worth.

Was wondering if anybodies tried this or know if it'll work to lay new turf on top of after mixing it with my old soil?

Apparently it's £2.5 a tonne + delivery, I've e-mailed them for a quote.

I wouldn’t use it, but it’s up to you.
People put all sorts of nasty weeds in their council green waste bins, and some of them heating and composting doesn’t altogether kill.  I know someone who got a garden full of marestail after using some, maybe not from this place but they’re all much the same.
They already say it’s only a soil improver.
I suppose if you only want it to lay turf on and you will be mowing regularly, it’s ok.
