A few plants (possibly weeds) from my parents garden, any ideas please? Tried to get an overall plus a close up of each.

Thanks in advance!
Alan

Hello Alan - definitely NOT weeds.First one I feel I should know but it escapes me at the moment. Second one is Aquilegia and Third one is Creeping Jenny. I'll stir around in the old grey matter to try and identify Number 1.

Number 1 could be Potentilla reptans - Creeping cinquefoil.

    I think that's a garden potentilla

    Thanks everyone!

From memory the Potentilla foliage doesn’t get much taller than it is now and it has orange flowers on tall stems.

The Lysimachia nummularia has completely taken over a rather neglected rockery!
