White patches on tomato plants

Can anyone tell me what these white patches are on my tomato plants. Do I need to do anything about them. I have only just started them from seed.

It looks like leaf burn.  Could be caused by over feeding or watering issues.  It's too early to fertilize, so hopefully you haven't done that.  Has the soil been too dry?  Or prolonged wet?  Moist is ideal.  Do you water in such a way that the foliage gets wet?  Bright sun and water drops on the leaves can make similar marks, but the pattern on yours looks a bit different.

  • Thanks, we have had some hot weather lately although think I may have over watered them!
