Swallows have arrived!

Maybe not exactly garden birds, but so delighted to see two swallows ,side by side, on the wires over our farmyard. Not the warmest place, here in the South Cotswolds, so quite early for us.

I've not seen any yet, but apparently some swallows were seen over Norfolk the other day  <3

  • Waiting to see when they get here too - a friend who lives in Buckinghamshire said they got there on April 6th.  Usually here around the 23rd April, though the first ones I see don't stay long - I think they're probably on their way further north than this.
